Counter-Strike 1.6 zombie mode with no builds, no AMX Mod X setup and no hunting for a live server. Hit the button and a few seconds later you're in the dark — and something is growling around the corner.
Bookmark Play-CS.com and next time the game is one click away.
Playing zombie mod the old way means downloading CS 1.6, installing AMX Mod X, finding and configuring Zombie Plague, and then still hunting for a server where someone is playing. Or you can just open a page:
| Downloaded Zombie Mod build | Zombie Mod on Play-CS.com | |
|---|---|---|
| Install | CS 1.6 + AMX Mod X + plugins + models | Nothing — it already works in the browser |
| Safety | "Ready-made zombie builds" often come with adware and malware | Nothing runs on your computer |
| Players | You search for servers yourself, half the list is empty | Quick Play drops you onto a live zombie server |
| Setup | Classes, items and balance by hand in configs | Everything is set up: classes, bosses, shop |
| Progress | None — it all resets when you quit | ZM Cash stays on your account and unlocks zombie skins |
Every round starts with everyone human: buy weapons and take a position. Then a random player becomes the first zombie and goes after the rest. Every infected player joins the zombies, so the horde snowballs.
The round ends when the zombies have infected everyone — or when at least one human survives until the timer runs out. Zombies can't shoot, only strike up close, but they're faster, jump further and take more punishment. Humans survive together: a narrow doorway, massed fire and not one step back.
Pick a class before you turn — from fast and fragile to a slow tank.
Sometimes a Nemesis spawns with a huge health pool. On the other side there's the Survivor, holding off the horde alone with a machine gun.
Infections and kills earn you round currency to spend on armor, heavy weapons and zombie upgrades.
Zombie maps are dimly lit, so you don't spot a silhouette in the corridor right away. Humans get night vision.
A currency that stays on your account and unlocks a separate collection of zombie skins in the shop.
A rented server switches to zombie mode with one button — with its own maps and settings.
No sign-up required — you can join as a guest.
It picks a live zombie server with good ping for you.
Stick with your team and stay out of the dark corners.
Dark streets, abandoned bases and reworked classic maps — from zm_dust2 to zm_pripyat.
We don't hand out CS 1.6 zombie mod builds or link to pirated clients. "Ready-made zombie builds" from unknown sites are a common way to spread adware and malware.
