Kills and Knives not registering

So i have my account registered, its connected and everything, but when I get a kill, even on ranked servers, its not registering in settings. My kills will show in statistics, but when I look at settings, so I can change my knife since i have enough kills, it won't show. All it will show is that i have 0 kills, and a level 1 knife. So I have some questions. First, when it says kills does it have to be knife kills? i knifed my friend once and it didn't show in settings, but that was before my forum registration. Next, do kills only work on ranked servers? I get kills on ranked but it won't show. And finally, is there a fix for this? I really want my knives! And one more. When I inspect my weapon with H, all that happens is my characters thumb moves a bit. Doesnt show for any of my weapons, nor my knife. Please help!

To get a knife, you need to make kills on any maps with a knife,
but on one condition - more than 4 people must play on the server.
