[Suggestion] Option to disable the chat

Hello,

I suggest to add a new setting where users can enable/disable chat functionality.
I try it using old console but did not succeed.
Sometimes there are very salty little kids which likes to swear in the chat.
I`m here to play the game, not to read the chat. Sometimes, it is really hard to ignore the chat lines if they are long and repeated fast.
Usually it leads me to just leave that server, but why should I do it because of others?

I think 99 % of players would agree with me on this one.

Thanks for actually a good and useful implementation, already turned chat off.
Is it also possible to turn sound off? Because it is pretty annoying, because you can still hear every time when somebody adds new line in the chat.
