Good afternoon.

Has it started to appear recently?
Has nothing changed at the moment?
Have you tried other maps?

At first glance, it sounds like some kind of incompatibility with Linux, but will not yet say so.
Yuri Good afternoon.

1) Has it started to appear recently?
2) Has nothing changed at the moment?
3) Have you tried other maps?

At first glance, it sounds like some kind of incompatibility with Linux, but will not yet say so.
Hi, Yuri! Thanks for an answer!

1) It is whole new PC, just got it recently. Never tried it before on that hardware. In August-2020 the same Manjaro Linux OS (having rolling update release system) running on the different was PC working well

2) I see the game "Version & Build: 0.0.4#123" are the same. Trying now: de_dust2, cs_mansion are the same: black map with "X Fullscreen" text on several surfaces. Browser is Chromium 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit). OS Manjaro Linux, latest updates (unstable branch).

3) in initial post I tried 3 maps. in item 2 I tried another one. So four maps gives the same. For me it looks like map-independent issue, but I could be wrong.
Please suggest what map names you want me to try.

I can collect your app's log, debug data. What exactly data to collect, which could point to a problem source?

May be to open a server with debug version of the app, where I can connect to and where from automated scripts of running debug app version on my PC could gather it's deep logging info?
Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0
Qt Version: 5.15.1
Kernel Version: 5.8.13-1-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit
At the moment, this situation is one of the most incomprehensible and important.
Thank you for your suggestion, we may contact you.

If we learn something more about this issue, we will also let you know.

We would very much like to study this problem in more detail. If you let me do it.
Contact me on Discord, moderator Waxman or in Personal Messages of Yuri R. # 3359.

Waiting for your reply.
Thank you for your answers.

Also did not understand how can I help you to know the problem in more detail: what exactly can I do to make you able to solve the problem?

Why to switch conversation to another source where is absent that root/initial key post? Does Discord place will give better conversation about this bug than this forum?

What exactly can I do to make you understand the problem cause and to help to fix it?
Good afternoon.

We want to contact you so that we can try to find out the cause of this problem directly with you,
through TeamViewer, for example.
Or when exchanging messages in a dialogue, without waiting.

This is necessary for a deep understanding of the problem.

You will help us a lot if we can contact you and, so to speak, touch the problem with our own hands.
I don't have time to assist further, but I also have the same bug as well on v0.0.8. See attached image. Problem occurs on various maps, and was not there several months earlier when I last played.

I also use a Linux system, Ubuntu 18.0.4 with Chromium 86.0.4240.75. The problem disappears when I turn off hardware acceleration, and does not appear with Firefox on the same machine.

System is an Intel CQD Q9400 with AMD HD6670, using Mesa/Radeon drivers.

After disabling hardware acceleration, did you experience a drop in FPS?
Yes there is a large fps drop, Chromium switches to the software webgl renderer when hardware acceleration is disabled. The issue only appears when playing cs-online, other webgl apps and games function fine.

I also tried the game out on another Linux system, this one with Ubuntu 20.04 and AMD Llano apu (also with Mesa/Radeon 20.0.8 driver stack). Same issues with hardware acceleration enabled. Unfortunately all my Linux machines use AMD graphics, don't have an Nvidia card to test (the OP uses Intel IGPU, which is also Mesa based).

Just curious, but do cs-online devs test the game on Linux and Chromium? My guess is that very little players actually use Linux.
Thank you for such detailed information.
We will definitely test it thoroughly on Linux.
SOLVED! Chromium fixed it's engine.

Details

web-CS v0.1.1#363
as the current
web-CS v0.1.1#364

Chromium:

navigator.userAgent
"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/88.0.4324.146 Safari/537.36"

CS runs well on the mentioned version.

============

Opera 73.0.3856.344

it's
navigator.userAgent
has substring of
"Chrome/87.0"

Map looks black with green text as tuxtures (see initial post).

Today in the Manjaro Linux distro for the earliest branch of updates I got:
Opera 73.0.3856.344-2 -> 74.0.3911.75-1

Now it's
navigator.userAgent
looks like
"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/88.0.4324.104 Safari/537.36 OPR/74.0.3911.75"

so the same "88" as was in Chromium.

I retried to play:
works just fine as was before initail post of the thread.
Only half of a year and already fixed!

=============

Additional tech data of my software including OS:

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.11.0-1-MANJARO (5.11.rc6.d0131.g1048ba8-1)
OS Type: 64-bit

```
$ pacman-mirrors --get-branch
unstable
$
```

In future the Opera update will be avail. on other update branches:
testing (a few days),
stable-staging,
stable.
It's very good!
Thank you for feedback!
